Routes into Languages is launching a series of webinars covering the topic of employability for language students.

Our first webinar session is about careers for linguists and is aimed at students, teachers and trainers who share an interest in translation and interpreting for the private and public sectors.

A panel of experts including teachers, practitioners, academics and students will answer questions from the public about working as a translator or interpreter.

Would you like to build a professional profile around your language skills and language knowledge?
Are you interested in becoming a translator or an interpreter?
Would you like to hear what these professions are like, from the experts?
Would you like to know what students of translation and interpreting do as part of their degrees?
Would you like to know what the pros and cons of the daily job are?
Would you like to know what opportunities there are out there?
Put your questions to the panel via #RoutesLive on Twitter and join us on Friday, 10 July 2015, at 12.30-13.30 for an informal online chat! All welcome!

The webinar will be recorded and will be available afterwards on the RoutesLive website
